Craig

Fully Qualified Technician

Craig Tarbotton - Brick-Tie

Craig has been with the company since 2003, starting as a trainee wall tie technician.

Learning quickly and meeting challenges with enthusiasm, he’s carved out a niche in the business for himself. He’s a great support for those around him and anyone needing help on a tough job will want Craig in the van.

He is a fully qualified NVQ level 2 Technician in wall tie replacement and also NVQ 2 in damp proofing and timber treatment. He is a PCA qualified technician.

He also has many industry certifications for damp, timber and waterproofing, including Cintec anchor certification. Trained on our heavy duty diamond drilling rig, he and Ryan make a formidable team.

He achieved 91% in his IOSH ‘managing safety’ test. He is Asbestos aware, Hand Arm vibration aware, PASMA certified and has IPAF certification for safe operation of mobile elevated work platforms too.

He’s a good character to have on board, always cracking jokes & pranking the lads, but when the going gets tough he’s the first roll up his sleeves and get stuck in. He makes sure his jobs are done on time with as little fuss as possible & always goes the extra mile for our clients.

Craig’s a family man & if he’s not taking his boys to play football or rugby along with his little girl, you can usually find Craig watching a rugby league game somewhere.

He recently refreshed his knowledge of safe use of woodworm and dry rot treatment fluids via the PCA professional biocide users course. He passed the exam of course so here is his ID card:

Craig Tarbotton – wall tie technician extraordinaire; damp proofing expert and enrolled on the Professional biocide user register… nice one.
